SurveySay review

Is SurveySay.com a legitimate website?

You are at the right place to find the answers.

We have some really useful clues that will help you find the answers. Let’s start our investigation.

If you don’t want to read the full review, read the 30-second summary.

What is SurveySay?

SurveySay is simply the duplicate version of bigspot.com.

Similar to Bigspot, SurveySay is also a gateway to other survey sites, and their website is very suspicious because:

On the one hand, there is no way to contact anyone behind this website; on the other hand, they are most likely giving your personal information to third parties for profit.

SurveySay reviews and complaints

I found 26 reviews on SiteJabber:

The average rating is 1.5 out of 5, and almost all of the reviews are negative. Here is a screenshot of a recent review:

Many are complaining about email and phone spam after using their service.

Is SurveySay a SCAM?

The short answer is YES.

It is not a safe website, and you should avoid it. Nothing good is waiting for you on this website. Let’s review the red flags:

Red flag 1: Contact Information

You cannot find a reliable way to contact support. This red flag alone is more than enough to avoid them.

I strongly advise you to always check contact information before trusting a website.

Red flag2: Duplicate website

This website is a duplicate version of Bigspot, also a scam.

Here is the screenshot of both websites:

As you can see, the only difference is in the logo.

They are the same website run by the same people. Here you can see the whois information of both of them:

Whois information of bigspot.com

Whois information of surveysay.com

Both domains are updated at the same time, and they are configured in one Cloudflare account. The company behind both domains is Varsityplaza which is very suspicious, and I couldn’t find any verifiable information about them.

All in all, keep your distance from SurveySay to save time and avoid the following spam.

SurveySay review in summary

Here is a 30-second summary of this review:

  • SurveySay is a scam
  • It is a duplicated version of Bigspot
  • It’s free, but it will waste your time
  • Stay away

So, my final thought is not to trust them with your personal information.

If you want to make a profit by doing online surveys, you can check out trustworthy websites like SurveyJunkie and SurveySpot.

However, you should know that your earning opportunity on survey sites is very limited. You can earn a few dollars, but it will never add up to a considerable amount.

I started thinking about trying out online surveys to make some extra income. But before entering into any of these I wanted to make some research how these pages work, or if they are scam or not, how much they pay (not as said in most ads). Luckily, I bumped into your page, so there is no way for me now to try this or any other site like this, as I really want to change my life and turn towards full time home based work, and as I see surveys are rather for some extra pocket money.

Sites like this should not be allowed to stay open. Someone is making money from taking people’s information using false advertisement. It’s too bad the government seems to do more harm to legitimate online sites while ones like this are still able to run. Thanks for the heads-up and for being honest with consumers.

I agree with you. There should be more strict laws about these shady websites since many people are not aware of them and how these people use their personal information to make money.

Thanks for uncovering this scam! I’m not the biggest fan of survey sites, but the ones I’ve tried were always legit, although I didn’t make money from it.

This one, however, must be the worst example I’ve ever seen. But why would they just create a copy of their site? I can understand you want to create multiple sites, but then why not change it up a bit, another theme, graphics, …

They did a really bad job of creating the same copy of the same scam with another name. They didn’t even change the layout.

I’ve never had any success with an online survey sites the anything I’ve wasted my time I can put to better use other things.

Surveysay is just another in a long line of sites praying on hopes of people who genuinely want to make extra income.

Reviews like yours help expose these scams and alert people to keep away.

    Well done you.

    Ash,

I am a SAHM and everyone says the best thing to make some side money is sitting on your couch doing surveys!  This is so unrealistic.  Most pay less then a dollar for a survey that takes you forever or you have to flip through a bunch of ad pages before even getting to the survey!  Finally, you have websites like this that are complete scams! Thank you for doing the leg work for those of us that could possibly fall into the trap.  I appreciate it so much!  Thank you also for coming up with a legitimate way for us to make money!

Different logo but same website or different website? I see the domain details are the same. I find it funny how people can simply trust some program via online. The online world is vast and can be operated by many anonymous people. It is hard to know which is true or false.
